The following is a list of professional credentials I have obtained over the past several years of working as a healthcare professional and am eligible to use after my name.

Ramandeep Kaur (ARDMS, CARDUP, CMRTO, FMF)

American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
ARDMS is a globally recognized ultrasound credential which provides sonographers      eligibility to work world wide.

Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP)
CARDUP is a nationally recognized ultrasound credential accepted all over Canada        to practice the profession legally.

​College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)  

CMRTO is an Ontario based ultrasound credential that sets professional practices and standards for sonographers to abide by in order to work in Ontario.

Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) 
FMF is a specialized ultrasound credential obtained by sonographers to be eligible for performing first trimester 11 to 13 week scan that help rule out genetic  abnormalities when combined with blood work.

  • Conducted weekly and monthly evaluations of the student's progress.

  • Reviewed case studies biweekly to explain complicated ultrasound pathologies.

  • Successfully completed the hospital training and certification associated with becoming a safety coach.

  • Spread awareness of the safety tools in various hospital departments such as clerical, imaging etc.

  • Delivered presentations in monthly site meetings explaining the safety tool and it's usage.

DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER

St. Joseph Health Center  2010-2013

  • Performed various ultrasonogaphic procedures on patients of all age groups.

  • Assisted radiologists in biopsy procedures. 

  • Performed breast ultrasounds with a mammogram technologist to provide accurate diagnosis.

  • Communicated ultrasound findings to the radiologist and drafted preliminary reports for them.

    Attended a three day conference highlighting the various aspects of a complete obstetrical scan and pelvic scanning in females.

    Attended a two day conference which familiarized me the new standards of obstetrical scanning.
